At Noble Park Evangelical Baptist, we as a church take seriously our responsibility to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children and vulnerable adults. It is the policy of the church that all individuals have the right to be safe and feel safe from any threat while on church premises, participating in church-operated activities, or accessing services provided by the church.
We seek to reduce the risk of abuse and commit to handling any suspected abuse or misconduct safely and effectively.
We ensure your child’s safety as follows:
- Sunday School teachers are approved and appointed by the elders, and a helper is always present at each class. All adults avoid being alone with a child who is not a member of their own family.
- No adult engages with a minor (under 18) on social media.
- Church Leaders and all Children’s Ministry workers have a Current Working with Children Check and they undergo training with the Baptist Union of Victoria every 4 years.
- Children’s Ministry Leaders and all church leaders have signed a Childsafe Code of Conduct.
For further details, speak with the Childsafe Team: Tim, Wes or Kathy. One of us will be on hand at church services if you need further information or if you need to raise a concern.
