About Us

Our desire is to be a church from the nations, for the nations to the glory of God!

We believe that our mission as a church is summarised in the great commission when the Lord Jesus Christ said to his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

In the early 1970s, our church was planted out of Mentone Baptist Church by a group of eager believers who wanted to the gospel spread and people come to know Jesus in a new suburb called Noble Park. What started off as a Bible study and prayer meeting soon became a regular Sunday gathering at a local primary school. The church officially constituted in 1974 with the support of the Victorian Baptist Home Mission Society.

Under the faithful preaching of the gospel, our church grew rapidly and received generous support from its young congregation. In 1983, we celebrated the completion of our church building at the present site. God continues to provide for our needs, and we recently renovated and expanded our building to accommodate more people and enable us to better minister to our children and community. Today, we continue to gather around God’s word so that we can grow in our trust of God and our love for Christ.

We would love to invite you to come along to our Sunday gathering where we celebrate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ each week!
