The New Testament shows us that the members of a church should intentionally commit to loving one another. We believe membership is a great blessing and an important responsibility for all Christians, at Noble Park Evangelical Baptist Church, we use the following membership process:
STEP ONE: A WALK IN THE PARK
A Walk in the Park is our membership class. In it, we invite newcomers and prospective members to walk through our church’s history, beliefs, commitments, and vision.
STEP TWO: MEMBERSHIP INTERVIEW
After attending A Walk in the Park, we encourage those interested in membership to request an interview with one of our elders. In the interview, our elders will collect some basic information and then ask the attendees to share their testimony and ask about their understanding of the gospel.
The elders will discuss the application. After their approval, they will bring it to a church meeting for a vote.
